CHOREOGRAPHIC & SONG COMPETITON
for a 2nd year in a row.
Our FPA students have the chance to create their own unique choreography or performance of a song for it to be entered in with a chance to win and perform it in front of a real, live audience on a professional stage!

Below you'll see the price list. These prices apply to both Songs and Dances.
SOLO - £5
DUET - £8

Open to all students from 8 -18 years old.

Any Dance Genre of your choice.

Songs must have some movement/acting elements involved.
​

Solo’s/Duets/Trios/Groups all welcome!

Max time length for Dances and Songs:
-
Solos: 2 mins
-
Duets: 2 mins 30 secs
-
Trios: 2 mins 30 secs

Groups: 3 mins 30 secs

Each student may only enter a maximum number of THREE entries. This includes entering your own pieces and performing in someone else’s group piece.

Concept of dances must be original and within the theme of the 2025 show ‘JUMPING OFF THE PAGES'.

Think books/ stories.

FPA teachers cannot assist you with choreography but may be asked for advice if needed. You may not use choreography from FPA classes/teachers.
​

Students can mix between age groups. For example, dances can include both Seniors and Inters.
​

You can costume your performances with anything you may have. Otherwise, dances may be performed in FPA uniform.
​

You must rehearse your dances in your own time. There won’t be any allocated time in class to create your pieces.
